We are a project based CNC engineering business with a twist, as we also make composite moulds and carbon fibre parts. Our projects range in size from tens of pounds to tens of thousands of pounds.
Our business was founded in January 2015 when we were commissioned to develop the Aston Martin AM37 powerboat for Quintessence Yachts. In the summer of 2018, we decided to capitalise on our design and manufacturing experience by focusing on the design, development and production of custom made engineered products. We rebranded the business as Carbinium Engineering and moved into new premises on the Scottow Enterprise Park, north of Norwich in Norfolk.
We have made parts for sub sea surveys through to prototype parts for supersonic rockets and a lot in between, primarily for the marine and motorsport markets.
In less than a year we have grown rapidly and most of our involvement so far has been in marine and motorsport industries working in metal, wood, carbon fibre and engineering plastics.
With three CNC machining centres we can offer 4 axis milling, turning and 3 axis routing in one location. This allows us to work in most metals and engineering plastics, as well as tooling board, carbon fibre, solid timber and plywood.
We love what we do, and it is great to be able to work on such a variety of projects under one roof at our workshop. We strive to offer a one stop solution to our clients utilising our diverse machinery and experience from many years of involvement with the highest quality of yacht building, design and engineering
Although we undertake complete projects from concept through design and onto manufacturing, we welcome enquiries to produce one-off parts and low volume and we supply both businesses and individuals.
Our passion and creativity can be infectious and so-far we have been fortunate to have worked on very interesting projects with tremendous clients.
