Fast and Furious
Our first milling centre. Blindingly fast moves between machining, she takes 1.6 seconds to go from machining with one tool to machining with any of the 30 other tools in the carousel. Great for smaller jobs and equipped with a 4th axis for machining features on cylinders or multiple sides of a part. The table is still large enough for us to mount six compact vices.

Haas VM3
The Grown Up Brother
Our larger Haas machine, designed with mould making in mind, the VM3 has accuracy built in. The large table gives us plenty of space for components up to 1 metre in length and 650mm in width. We use this machine for larger parts, mould tools and running multiple set ups.
We have a 5 axis trunnion for this machine for smaller 5 axis parts.

The Fully Monty
Our fully specified, Japanese built simultaneous 5 axis machining centre. A list of what this machining centre does not do would be really short. Truly F1 quality. The moving axes are temperature controlled with their own chiller to eliminate thermal growth.
With a 600mm platter we can 5 axis machine parts that sit within a 750mm diameter envelope and up to 400mm tall. The 18,000RPM spindle really comes into its own when we are working with small diameter mills.
Utilising our own design of pyramids we can machine three parts at a time and using our risers we have extremely flexible work holding abilities for all sorts of components.
We make our more involved parts on this machine and some mould tools that benefit from the high spindle speeds and 5 axis machining. With a 60 position tool changer we are never short of the right cutter on this machine!

Haas ST15 Turning Centre
Swift and accurate
We do far more milling than turning, but our turning centre is very flexible. We are set up for short runs, and mainly make small parts up to 65mm in diameter. However we are able to machine components up to 305mm in diameter and 300mm in length. Our machine is equipped with an electronic tool setter, which helps us achieve great accuracy.

Muscular and versatile 3 axis routing centre
With a 3M x 1.25M working area and 400mm of Z travel, we can machine large components on this versatile machine. The vacuum bed allows us to hold materials that would be difficult to hold on a milling centre. We use this machine for sheet materials, sold timber, tooling board and engineering plastics. With a 12 position tool changer plus a bank of nine drills this a very productive machine and we frequently use it to make jigs, patterns and frames.
