Cape 31 Trophy
Brief:
We were thrilled to be commissioned by Lord Irvine Laidlaw to design and make a trophy for the Cape 31 Class. Our concept design picked up on some of the distinctive chine lines of this dynamic and rapidly growing class, and followed the design cues we were given by Lord Laidlaw.

Mould Making
We made direct aluminium mould tools to give us the crisp definition that we wanted.
Finished Trophy
The carbon fibre trophy is very light. The faded out graphic was expertly sprayed on during the clearcoat process. To give the trophy some heft and stability the plinth is made from billet machined aluminium with painted and polished surfaces.
